About
our company

Welcome to Silence of Space Counseling LLC!

I want you to feel at ease here. Therapy should feel inviting, not intimidating. Our secure, simple telehealth platform makes it easy; before each appointment, I'll send you a private link for your phone, tablet, or computer—no tech headaches, just click and connect. All you need is a confidential space and a decent internet connection. I meet you where you are, both physically and emotionally. There’s no need for stiff intros or awkward small talk. It’s just us, showing up as ourselves, ready to share real moments and do meaningful work together.

Creativity and compassion are at the heart of my approach. I blend trauma-informed care with a splash of imagination, so our sessions are never one-size-fits-all or boring. Right from the start, we’ll chat about what you want out of therapy and which approaches feel right to you. Each session, you’re in the driver’s seat—you get to decide how you want to show up. Maybe you need to talk things through after a rough week, or maybe you’d like to try something hands-on, like art or gentle grounding exercises. You can switch things up, mix and match, or stick with what feels most comfortable. No art skills or fancy supplies required—just a willingness to explore and be open. Every session is tailored to what you need most, right now.

I love working with individuals, couples, and families who are searching for more than just a quick fix. This journey is about honest growth, real self-discovery, and building genuine connections. I’m deeply invested in this work, but it matters most when you are, too. Think of me as your steady supporter, creative guide, and wing woman. I am here as you face life's ups and downs. My hope is that you leave each session feeling truly seen, genuinely heard, and a little kinder to yourself as you do the hard work.

Nicole Kent, M.A., ATR, LPC, is the owner of Silence of Space Counseling LLC, a registered art therapist, and a licensed professional counselor. She currently provides outpatient telehealth therapy throughout Pennsylvania.

Big ideas, real impact.

Here, creativity meets opportunity. We're here to help you take the first step in therapy with confidence. Let’s create something meaningful together!

Enjoy this warm, sunlit space designed for safety and connection, to help you feel grounded as we dig into what has been coming up.
My office offers a cozy, comfortable, and confidential space where you can take a deep breath, a break for an hour, and to feel at ease.
  • In individual telehealth sessions, there’s no judgment—just an open invitation for you to join me, even (and especially) when things feel uncomfortable. We’ll talk through the tough stuff together: the obstacles, the broken bridges, the barriers that keep you from feeling like your best self. Whether you’re dealing with something that’s weighed on you for years, a piece of your past you’re finally ready to face, or a recent event that’s thrown you off track, I’m here to listen. My goal is to help you use therapy as a practical tool—something real and honest—to move forward in the direction you want to go.

  • If you were to ask me about how I support couples therapy, I’d be honest: I lean heavily on the Gottman Method. I’ve completed Level 1 training and keep building on that foundation through ongoing education, because I believe relationships deserve the best, science-backed care available. In our telehealth sessions, I’ll help you and your partner strengthen your friendship, communicate more openly, and tackle conflict together with real tools—not just theory. My goal is to create a space where both of you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward as a team.

  • You don’t need to be an artist—or even in the same room as me—to benefit from art therapy. That’s what makes it such a unique and flexible approach. Sometimes, all you need is the back of an envelope, a pen, a penny saver, maybe even toothpicks and tape. We’ll get creative with whatever you have on hand. For me, art therapy is never about making a masterpiece; it’s about the process, about letting your feelings out, and about what comes up for you as we work together. Maybe it’s a word, a memory, a sensation—whatever it is, it matters. I always encourage you to feel proud of what you create, and I’m genuinely honored to make art alongside you, whether you want to work independently or collaborate. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are—restrictions, limitations, and all—and help you use art to express yourself authentically.
